Nice and close to this guy. I am undecided on the the greens in opposing corners but would maybe crop a touch from the bottom to clean up some of the intruding grasses.(Above the 3 lower ones) Exposure looks great for the blacks.

You might want to scale down the size for web here. I believe it is above the limit, but anyways I'm on a 24" monitor and I still have to scroll.

Thank goodness I hate being the first to comment, but on the Wildlife section it is often difficult not to.
The only way to have made this better would to have been lower, other than that it is great especially considering it is black!

Thanks, Paul...you are right about the size. I just linked to my pbase photo, and should have resized. My fault..I will try to edit it. I personally like the green against the black, but I should probably clone out the grass you mentioned.

I resized this for the forum....this is a link to the full size image which is sharper.

    Steve,
This is too big and we don't have an option of zoom out to view your image. :-)

Please repost the image after resizing it according to guidelines.

The image appears to be sharp and exposure is right. You appear to be quiet close.
    Cheers,

Thanks, Sabyasachi....I did resize it. Sorry....I fogot when I linked to pbase. It did come out pretty sharp, considering how much I was shaking! You can see small flies in the corner of his eyes if you look close. Easier to see here:

He wasn't all that interested in me...just rooting grass. It still made me nervous.

Nice portrait.. Like the balance the greens in the corners add. The FG light grasses gotta go...

Great portrait and eye contact. Nice details in the blacks as well.
