Taken in the Sabi Sands reserve. The lions were being darted against rabies etc. so the wildebeest was set as bait. 40D, ISO 1000, 1/30 f2.8.

    Stephen,
Good attempt in a difficult situation. Moody image. However, I would have loved to see more of the lions instead of the dark tree on the left. The lion is outlined nicely. The eye is drawn to the bright area frame by the body and legs of the lion standing at the front where as the action is more to the left. Thanks for sharing.
    Cheers,

I love the mood and light here. Great job on exposure, but I wish for more definition of whats goin on on the left.

I agree with the above comments, what was the source of light?

Thx guys for looking. The wildebeest was tied to the tree on the left. It made it very difficult to get to the action. As to the light, it's from a spotlight on another vehicle to the right of the lions.
