    Black-Necked Stilt, Costa Rica

    Hi Everyone!
Decided this morning that it really was time that I posted my addition to the Doug Brown/Greg Basco Costa Rica trip. I echo everything that Gary and Dan have said - the trip was awesome and I can't wait to go again...:D
This was taken at La Ensanada and is presented pretty much as taken except that I had to bump up the exposure a little in ACR as at that stage I hadn't learned how to do this in Manual mode - sorry Greg...:o:D...!!
Thanks to all my fellow participants for making this such a memorable experience...

Hi Nicki! This is very graphic and artistic! I guess you could say "high key". The conditions at that salt pond were not the easiest to handle and you made the best of your position in relation to the sun! I a still reeling from the trip! Keep the images coming!

Hi, Nicki. I know that this is an image you really wanted from the trip so I'm happy to see this. In my opinion, it's a fantastic image. I don't see anything that could be improved.

    Congrats,
    Greg

Nicki, Yes the trip was awesome and so is this photo. I would change nothing. Print it!

Brilliant high key image Nicki, and very well exposed. I would maybe like to see more of the ripples around the feet and beak. Still, very well captured.

    You've been missed girl!!!
Lovely high key, I'd place the bird more to the lsft of the image for a stronger compo.
    Looking forward to more :)

Hi Nicki! You worked hard to get this image, and your efforts paid off with a very nice photo! Congrats on a job well done. I'm with Fabs about moving the bird slightly to the left of the frame.

Hi Nicki: This is a great example of a pre-visualized image, executed very well. Big congrats on this. You talked about this and created the image. Nicely Done!! It was great meeting you and traveling around Costa Rica with you. I hope our paths cross again one day.

Beautiful shot! Lovely high-key image! I might clone out some of the ripples in front, but a superb shot!
