    Hi Tony,
    I love the soft side-light on the bird and the feather detail looks beautiful. My only wish would be for a slight head turn. Awesoe BG.

    nice pic,like the bg,nice exposure,could be better with head angle,and I am not a fan of bird rings,but a good shot.thanks.

    Stunning light, detail and pose captured here Tony. The dark OOF grass in front of the perch is a bit distracting, and in a perfect world would straighten the perch to vertical. But thats just being nit picking.

    Composition works for me and the result is very good instead of the fact that the light is a bit harsh. Too bad that the owl didn´t give you a better head turn. :-)

    Yes Juan, the light was very harsh by the time this was taken and it was really difficult to control the highlights and shadows. I do have shots of her looking at me but due to the facial feathers and harsh light the shadows are too dark, this was the only composition that worked unfortunately...

    I like it the way it is and don't mind the lack of head turn, occasionally these shots are nice. The oof blade of grass/weed to the left of post is the only thing I find a bit distracting
