    This fellow has been singing his head off as he does every spring in the little gully near my house. Today his mate showed up and he was so excited that he forgot how shy he was, and popped up in front of my lens for just a few seconds.

    Nice capture Charlie! I like the sharpness and BG! This is a good shot showing the "tear drop" eye ring of the Pac Slope/Cordillerian flycatchers!

    Lovely pose with a great head angle. I would maybe take a bit off the RHS, and quite a bit off the LHS.

    Like the comp. The branch leads my eye to the bird. Great bg and good detail. Well done here

    Hi Charle,
    I love the comp as presented. The only thing that I would consider doing is toning down the bright spot in the LLC.

    Beautiful sharpness and BG here Charlie. The crop with lots of space below, emphasises the perch. I would like to see a version with more room at the top and less below.

    Very nice presentation of this guy!

    Nice species and light. I might be tempted to reduce the noise on the BG but that would be it.

    Great find.
