Canon EOS 5D – EF35-350/3.5-5.6L USM – Focal Length 320.0 mm – ISO 400 – 1/320Sec. @ f/6.3 – Metering Modes Spot – Exposure Compensation 0 Shot this image at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. This is a non native species in Hawaii, but has gone wild. It was the only one we saw on our trip. Only munipulation was minor sharpening. Full frame image. Enjoy!
I like the pose of the pheasant and the raised leg. A better head turn would be great and the composition needs, in my opinion, a litle bit of more room at the top. Beautiful bird, by the way :-)
Lovely low angle and I like the colours on him, together with the raised foot.
Thanks appreciate the comments. I have to possibly make a correction to my post. I didn't think that I cropped it, but it appears to be as it is not 24x36 format. Oh well..... I think I did crop to adjust the eye location a little and get it into the 1/3 intersect location.
