A curious little owl, isn't he? Taken at sunrise on Marco Island. Would you keep both owls, or crop out Mama? on the right, and just keep the curious owl? I think both owls lend a little tension (what does mama think of her quirky little adolescent?)! Too bad about the rebar, but it is what it is. All C&C welcome.

A gorgeous and complimentary BG. I like both of them in the image. Nice and sharp with good exposure. It's hard to find those owls on more natural perches. I find it fascinating to see the horizon on the eye of the bird on the left with the head tilted. Well done.
You can tell it was getting dark with the size of those pupils! In a way it kinda looks odd seeing the image as bright as it is with said pupil sizes as you wouldn't see that in broad daylight. I would definitely keep both birds in the frame. Each individual would look good on their own, but having them together adds an extra dynamic to the image. Too bad about the perch...on the bright side it does help show those talons :-) Although the image looks very sharp did you think of raising the ISO in darkish conditions as you had here?
I like the composition as is. Exposure looks good (Was flash used?). The owls are sharp, but may be too sharp around the edge that they look to me like they were cut out from a cardboard. Good capture nonetheless.
