    Default Morninglight

A posing Baboon in Ngorongoro. They were all sitting in the trees to get warm.

    Hi Stefan:

This is a good exposure and composition with the placement of the animal and the sun.

The only issue is we can't tell what kind of animal it is. When shooting a silhouette shoot it so that you can tell what the animal is without a text explanation. The photo must stand on its own and tell the story. In this case, it is just a fuzzy fur outline.

    Stefan,
I fully agree with Steve. I hadn't commented on this image as I had wanted to think about it. I can't make out that the animal in the image is a baboon or something else. Exposure is right though. I find the wavy bottom of the Sun funny. It appears as if the baboon has chewed it. :-)

Some of our abstract images work and some don't come out so well. That should not stop us from experimenting. Please keep on sharing.

    Cheers,

Just not enough info on the animal for the mind to process what's happening here. Good Idea thought...
