    Mallard sunset silhouette.
    details: 40d with 300 f/4 non-IS and 1.4x. f/5.6. 1/1250. iso 400. minor sat and contrast adjustments in dpp. 75% crop of original.

    I would have got a better shot after the sun had gone down further...but as luck would have it, it went behind a large cloud.

    I like the silhouette, mood and light and might crop a bit off the top.

    I agree with the comments above and just wanted to add that I find the colors in the water to be very pleasing. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice, sharp silhouette, and I find the composition very pleasing.

    Quite a bit of clipping in the red channel. I would pull that back some, either in curves or hue/sat.
