This is not a real popular species to photograph or post but I thought the action captured here was interesting, Viera Wetlands, Florida, Canon 500mm F4 and 1.4 from car as blind. I feel that the clipped wings are ok, with the action really centerd in on the front of the birds.

Wow Jeff you have some great action going on in this image and excllent exposure and detail.. I would like to have seen a little more room but still great as posted. !!
Thanks for adding the techs, Jeff. This is an excellent image, although I wish there was a way to make their eyes more discernable. The wings are more of a cut than a clip (clip sounds like a mistake), and don't bother me at all. I love the action, and you did a good job making sure you had enough depth of field to capture it all.
