    Hey Denise, this one doesn't seem to have enough in focus for my taste, but If your intention was to create a soft focus image then you did a great job.

    For soft focus you were still able to pick up the spider thread!

    I like the composition and the background.

    Would that it were a little sharper but, it would be a different image.

    Yeah, I'm afraid I'm with Mike. It just doesn't have enough in focus to stop my eye from looking around for something to focus on. If one of the two front blooms had been faced straight ahead that probably would have done it for me - my eye would land there, sharp focus or not. As is, I just can't get my eye past the spider strand.

    Not to beat a dead horse but I agree with the above. You seem to have focused on the edges of the petals. It might have been interesting to focus on the stamens instead.
