Default One MacDuckling to go please.

Captured this Swamp Harrier just as he/she was about to pluck a duckling from the lake (unfortunately behind the swamp grass)

    Image captured on a Canon 30D with 300mmF4 L IS + 1.4X con. (420mm) 1/1250sec, F/ 6.3, ISO200, Pattern metering, Aperture Priority.

Nice light and pose. Is this a heavy crop? There is not much detail in the harrier's plumage and the BG looks quite noisy for ISO 200. I would put the bird lower in the frame, do a bit CW rotation and crop above the water. The OOF ducks don't add much to the image.

    Hi Christopher,

Cropping at the water line would help a lot as Axel mentioned. Also selecting the highlights and adding some detail would be an enhancement as well.
