Lovely colours and smooth BG, Kirk. Light and pose are good and the water droplets are a bonus. Toning down the reflections on the beak a little may be an option.

Hi Kirk - Love the low shooting angle, nice job on the exposure - good details in the blacks and the whites in check. Like it :)

In addition I'll point out that the haed angle could be a little better. I don't mind the lower blue stripe but it could be desat a bit to lessen its' impact, and I could do without the top one skimming the bird's back. I really like the water drops, and the stirring water. Good job on the exposure :-)

Lovely low angle, and love the trailing droplets from the beak. Excellent exposure, and this is nice and sharp. Great capture Kirk.

Very good on the exposure and the timing ! I also would think the blue stripe in the background could be done without :) Overall, a very good one with the 70-300VR !
