I intentionally leave the oof tree swallow there. Just wonder if this composition works for you.

In the foreground is a cliff swallow.

    200-400 @ 400 hand-held. ISO 640, f4 1/2000s.

    Cropped.

    C&C welcome and appreciated !!!!

    Thank you !!

    H Desmond,
This is fantastic...this works for me, it shows behavior...I like the jump flight capture with the sudden banking turn...the oof bird adds to the composition...well done...

I think if the diving bird was free of the bg branch it would work, just looks odd with the branch through the bird !!! Some kind of sharp !!! Neat !!!

Really impressive to me Desmond!. I like that sharp head and the bird yn the FG. Like Al, I also feel the backgraound branch disturbes the compo. Well done!

Desmond, I have to agree with Alfred on this. The branch going thru the bird is odd but it does look like a sharp image and very rarely captured so I am going to say I like it as a behavior image. Well done.

Hi desmond - I to am going to agree with AL, exposure is good, composition is good - just a couple of seconds later for my taste. :)

Haha...a couple of seconds later? In the following frame, which I think is 1/8 sec later, only some part of the cliff swallow is there :D:D But, I know what you mean :)

Thanks for expressing your opinions, folks !!

Couple seconds with a swallow? I love that super sharp face/eye on the Cliff s. I agree with Alfred on the wire thing.
