Great timing to catch the food morsel being pushed back by the tongue. May be an option to clone out the dry piece of the plant that is merging with the bird's breast and neck. Lovely contrasting textures.
I like the light in this, and well timed to show the open beak and tongue. I feel your focussing point was on the fruit. Maybe a bit of selective sharpening on the bird, and dodging the eye will work. Still, well captured Scott.
As already pointed out, good timing on that tongue action! I agree with Tony about the piece merging with the bird. I would also have prefered a better head angle as it is looking away, and I find the tail a little too obstructed. A bit of chromatic abberation can be noticed along the back and a few other outlines - perhaps desaturating the blues a bit would help with that. Lovely colours throughout :-)
