Cool bird, looks like you had a good trip. I would remove the leaves in the lower left, usually I would like them but there aren't enough IMO, maybe add more :). would also like to see the far wing a little higher to separate from the head,do you have any more from this series? cant wait to see more from the trip!
More foliage or none for me too. I think more would be awesome as I do like seeing things other than clean skies from time to time. While the head/wing separation is a good point it still kind of works because of the contrast of the bill an plumage. Can't wait to see more stuff myself! :)
For some reason the flowers don't bother me that much. My issue is same as Cooke's re the blending of the head into the left wings, but hey, I've got shots like that, too :)
Its not always possible to separate the head from the wings, ( although we all strive to do so ), so I will take this anyday. I like the posture, and well exposed on the underwing. I would just move him back to the left.
