    Default Snowy Plover Call

This snowy plover was photographed at first light on the beach with the water and sky in the BG. As luck would have it (and often does play a role in our photography), this little one called out while I was photographing.

    F6.3, 1/800sec, ISO 400, manual mode

Superb image Marina. The yawning pose is really nice, the low angle is fantastic and the BG couldn´t be more sweet. I love everything on this image. Very well done! :-)

Lovely low angle and the yawn is great Marina, there is a darker spot along the water line to the right of the bird that I might clone out.

I'd be tempted to sharpen the eye a bit more, but man I love this image :-) I would have thought the WB to be a bit warmer at first light, did you cool it a bit?

Great angle, mood and the open bill adds to it. I might run NR on the BG and crop a tad off the top. I think there is a little dust spot "northeast" of the head.

Lovely angle, and what soft light and colours you have captured in this Marina. Very well timed to show the open beak. Congrats on an outstanding image.

Lovely light, pose, BG, colors, detail, exposure and comp, the low angle works perfectly to me. Congratulations Marina!

Wow! I know they don't like WOWs here as much, but the reasons why I say wow have already been mentioned above and I am simply breathless looking at your image. So WOW! :) I am very impressed. And sorry, but there does appear to be a dust bunny as been mentioned. At first I thought "What the?" but then opened my eyes. It helped. :D Congratulations!

Just beautiful! The colors are great and the open beak a bonus. I'd crop a small amount off the top.
