    Hi Michael,

great location and cloud formation. I find the background a bit unsharp for the camera/lens combination you used (I have the some combination). Have you tilted the lens?

    Regards

    Bernd

    Hey Michael,
This may be my favorite spot on earth.......yet the hardest to truly capture! I feel your pain......Unless you have very dramtic light here...it never captures the granduer or scale of the canyon. As presented the LR corner now dominates the image and it just doesn;t pop the layers off the screen. This is why I consider the GC the hardest place to photograph.

Bernd, I think it was the haze in the canyon. couldn't cut through it even with a polarizer. I only used the shift on the pic, not the tilt....
