Got this screaming tern coming head-on to challenge other terns who are nesting in the same area. Am wondering if it'll be better to crop off the bottom blue part which is the sea. All feedback welcomed! :)
Love that screaming pose. I'd probably remove the water; it'd have the added benefit of making the image less square. A better sun angle would have helped this otherwise very nice image.
Excellent exposure Jay, and love the posture, together with the screaming beak. I would leave the space, but clone in the vegatation to replace the sea.
I like this a lot and would leave the water as an added habitat bonus, even though I understand Doug's point about making it more square. But how about going to the full-frame image to see what you have -- perhaps you don't need to be cropping at all.
Love the scream and the pose and the sharpness and the perfect EXP. And the sea. Do you have more room right in the orig?

I like the pose of the bird and the exposure very well handled.
Would you consider cloning out both the green and blue foreground and changing them to sky?
Thanks all for the feedback! Seems like most may prefer a more longish crop? I'll try and see if it works. My thought was having the sea in gives it a more environmental feel. :)
