This is a captive bird I shot in my first day with nikkor 80-400 VR. Unfortunatly I lost all the files from that day, so I only have a few processed the same day and saved as web sized jpg in a diferent location. I would love to have a raw of this one to make a better processing, as the pose on this one pleases me....

    Cámara: Nikon D300 , handheld
    Exposición: 0,005 sec (1/200)
    Aperture: f/6,3
    Lente: 210 mm
    Velocidad ISO: 200

Do like the crop and framing Jose Shows the bird well ... might even like a tine head turn for obscuring the other eye and doing away with the little white on the other side of the beak !!!

Hi Jose, I like the pose and the attitude as well as the dramatic coloring and I empathize with the loss of your files as I still remember the day I discovered I had lost my burrowing owl photos.

    Hi Jose,
I like the close up portrait...I like the feather details and the overall color rendition...I would suggest on back down on the over sharpening of the eye...it looks a bit odd...

Hi Jose - Glad to see you are having fun with the new lens - agree with the above, just that little bit of a head turn away from you and the over sharpening of the eye - it has that pixelated look.

Like the composition and the pose.
    :)
