    Bruce, Nice composition and conversion. I like the crisscross of the whites in the black,don't think you would see that in color.

    Bruce, I really like the pine needle floor this is on...just wish the BG was a little less jumbled feeling. I also wish the veins of the flower were a little big crisper. Overall it's a nice b&w but I feel the true "white" is missing from the image.

    Thanks! I had a hard time keeping a bright white and getting vein detail. It seemed like Ihad to sacrifice one for the other. Here is the original before GS conversion.

    I too wish the background was more solid. But the angle and work on the bloom is quite good. I do think I like the color version better though...
