Default Gray Scale for PP color work

I thought you might find this useful, as I use it when working in any photo software. It is a 10-step gray scale pattern (just like the one at the bottom of this page only less steps). I keep this image open while I am working on images in PS. It is small, and can be kept in a floating window. You can drag it around over the image you are working with and it will give you a reference for neutral RGB shades from pure black to pure white. Note that the black bar is 0-0-0 and the white bar is 255-255-255. Neither of these values should be present in an image.
