    During his huntingparty on fieldmice he took a minut rest in the field wich gave me the oppertunity to make this headshot.

    Lovely profile of this owl. The image has good details and colors. For my taste I find the eye a little too centered. Thanks for sharing.

    Excellent head portrait. To get the eye off the center you'd need to crop part of the body or leave no room in the front, so I'd probably use the same crop. Lots of detail in the plumage and great light. Another winner.

    Lighting, exposure, and focus are spot-on. I do like the composition as you've cropped it. Excellent work.

    I don't mind the crop as there is much more space in front of the face than behind the head, but I would add a bit above. I would also look at toning down or eliminating the bright grass behind the neck and the clump of bright grasses in front. Nice light!

    I like the crop as is. I love the detail and color. The dead grass is a distraction and I would consider removing it if you agree to cloning.

    I like it tight, it works well IMO, light is priceless and detail is great, BG looks good but IMHO it has to much NR.
    Still, Terrific shot! Congratulations!
