    Default Sakar Falcon

I took this image last week on an overcast day at the annual Wild NH Day. The Falcon was with a group of other BOP's that were being displayed by their handlers from the NH School of Falconry. The black BG is courtesy of a dark tinted window on a building behind him.

Very nice image, overall - well exposed, great colours and tack sharp. Good use of the dark tinting in bkg. I'll probably be the first of several to suggest the head turned away is not ideal, but the sharp eye and well visualized bill (?beak) in profile do mitigate this somewhat.

Excellent critique by Jory. You were pretty close judging by the depth of field. The room is visible in the eye :)
    Thanks for sharing it, Paul.

Very nice light, detail and colors, I wish for slightly more room, and a little better head angle. Congratulations!

Agree with above comments regarding head angle. Otherwise a very nice image! Really like the black BG.
