Pity I couldnt ask him to land symetrical, so both wings were level. These Egyptian geese look so fat when they are coming into land, but they are actually quite normal in size. I think it was luck that the head is dead straight on.

Nice detail in the bird and wings. At first I wondered about straightening to bring the wings more into level. But after looking at the head, the picture does look level and a crookedy landing what is about to happen. I like that anticipated action here

Great pose, details and you handled the harsh light well. I might lighten the shadow of the bill.

Ditto the shadow but I like this. Great colour. I'm not sure about the comp. Would have liked it more to the left. Almost feels like his flying out of the frame. Still well done on this

I like the pose. The exposure looks good to me with good details in the whites and darks. The composition works for me. I like that you left room at the bottom for the bird to fly into. I do agree that the shadow under the bill distract a little. Thanks for sharing!

I like the detail in the dark and light feathers as well as the reflection from the water. I think the comp is fine.

Great feather detail reflecting from the water and a super pose showing the open wings
