    Default Theme: Purple People Eater

I photographed this Green Basilisk Lizard in Costa Rica a couple of weeks ago. We had a great time on the tour with many excellent photo opportunities. This guy let us get very close (I shot this with my 100mm macro lens), and sat there patiently as the group snapped image after image. I thought I'd have some fun with this one.

Outstanding!! Doug looks like you guys got some great images from Costa Rica. Very nice colors and love the way he looks illuminated. The eye is fantastic!

A nice contrast with the eye and the purple skin! I love this one. It looks real enough without a fake feel. Good pose and a nice crop, composition. A little more separation of the head and the ridge along the back would be nice, but a minor thing.

I'm glad you had a good time Nicki. I certainly enjoyed getting to know you! I'll remember to not lick the toads next year.
