    Default Red Backed Shrike

Took this image a few months ago, when it was the high season for shrikes in Israel.

Great image, Danny! I like the light, perch, details and complementing BG. If anything I might remove the sheen from the beak. Keep them coming!

All round fine image, excellent pose, perch and background. Also like the deatil you have captured and the overall brown tones of the image.

All around wonderful image!! Although the two dried leaves may be part of the perch I find myself wanting to reach out and pick them off. The combination of subject, perch, and BG all gel together quite nicely.

One of the most beautiful compositions that I have seen so far.

I might be tempted to sharpen the eye a bit more.

    Lovely work.
