I like the sharpness and the pose. What is the background? It looks to me to be too bright. I wonder if the exposure is a bit over :) Good capture anyway.

Nice shot Brian. I am guessing this bird was moving pretty fast. I might remove the bits of branches and just have the bird. Hand holding a 500/2.8 must be fun!
