    That is funny, knowing this dog....if there is one thing she isn't, it is slow. I think she sleeps at full speed.......

    Thanks everyone....I appreciate the comments on Georgie. She is a fun, rather crazy puppy, even if she looks calm here. I posted the shot for a couple reasons. First, I think it shows how amazing IS can be. This was handheld in natural light (and not much of it) at 1/15s. I wouldn't even consider doing that without IS....it works great for this kind of shot. DOF would be too shallow if you just used f/2.8 or faster, IMO. I also think the comp works here, and it is a little out of the box. Dog is looking out, not into, the frame. The toy draws your eye away somewhat. But I like it in spite of, and maybe because of, the fact it isn't done quite the proper way. Thanks for taking a look.

    Thanks everyone...amazing that such a sweet face can be so bad at times! Puppies are just puppies, aren't they?
