A couple of Laughing Gulls having a difference of opinion. What I like about this is the guilty expression of the yellee, leading me to believe that he did something to deserve the yellers anger :D

    Fabs:

Great expressions, and it does look like the left gull is hanging his head as if guility!

Nice exposure, sharp. In regards to the cropping, I assume you don't have all of the right birds wing? If that is the case , I might try a version with it cropped in a bit more, in at the end of the darker feathers. I think it might concentrate more attention on the birds expressions.

By the way, I see you shot this with a D30. Is this the new entry level Nikon DSLR? Are you now doing pre production testing for them? How do you like it?

    Cheers

    Sorry, Randy, typo!!!!

I take the D300 to the beach as not to risk the D3.

Thanks for your suggestion and comment :)

I agree with Randy about trying a tighter crop, althought I wouldn't have thought of that myself as I like the way it is as presented, the action and atitudes captured are great. Congratulaitons Fabs!

I like it Fabs; good details in both dark and light tones and don't mind the clipped wing at all. Great action capture! I think you really should rename this Husband and Wife - we all know which one is the yeller and yellee. :D

    Thanks for sharing.

Love it as is, as well as your title. This seems to be an image that would work composed a few different ways. The color of the water is pretty.

Lovely exposure Fabs, and love the interaction. Pity about the cut off wing tip, but sometimes in the excitement of getting the shot, we miss a slight concentration.
