Gary this is just wonderfully framed!! The BG is to die for, along with the colors and sharpness. You even got nice eye contact.

    Gary:

Lovely background, interesting perch, and fun pose. Exposure is good.

On my monitor, the bird looks over sharpened, with some subtle halos and edge effects starting to show up. It might be worth backing down the sharpening just a bit. I tend to be very sensitive to over sharpening, so will be curious what the rest of the crew feels.

Nancy felt it was OK, so perhaps its just me, but I don't think so.

    Thanks for posting this beauty.

    Randy

Beautiful image, love the composition. I don't see any signs of over-sharpening.

Great pose, perch, and BG! The yellow feathers do look ever-so-slightly oversharpened on my monitor, but still look very good. I'd like to see a bit of green above the perch, instead of having it clipped up top.

    Gary,
I second Ramon's comments, and I don't notice oversharpening, or halos. I love the composition of this image and congratulate you. Thanks for sharing.

This is a real nice capture, nice pose, lighting and as was stated already, a beautiful background.
