Northern Hawk Owl - Gimme! Gimme some of that Cookin'!

Baited, February, Quebec Canada. Added some motion blur to wing tips, tail, and background twigs ... also some color gradient top left & bottom. Hawk Owl's extremely keen eye sight & hunting ability was a total delight ... and so impressive to observe.

Thank you for looking, and your suggestions are always appreciated.

Pin sharp where it counts, and love the concentrated look for his bait. I like the effects you have created, not sure if the mods will leave it in this category. Congrats Brian I like this lots.

    Brian:

I agree with Stuart. Nice technicals, looks like a movie version of an owl. I do think it should go into OOB forum because of the tweaking. Neat image however.

It's in the right forum here Brian. I like the blurred edges.

This image was moved from "Avian" to "OOTB" as this is where it belongs. If you hadn't added motion blur to the wings after-the-fact it could have stayed in Avian. What you did here is pretty cool though, very OOTBish ;-) Looks like your stay in Quebec for some northern owl photography was very productive!

Brian, This is very cool!! I like the added blur to the wings it implies speed! I really like the lines in the BG and think they add to the overall feel-well done!
