Took this in Costa Rica. A red-eyed tree frog. He had landed on someomes shirt. These guys can leap about six feet and they are tiny, (maybe two inches or so)
So I added a leaf, drop shadow, put it through some Topaz Adjust filters, wood grain, BuzzSim, and maybe watercolour. Then in CS4 did a poster edge. It reminds me of a cartoon:)

    Neat.... Like the effect.

Would probably have moved him down the page, but with these guys it's hard to keep them down! :D

a cartoon it is...now it needs a name. where's gus when you need him!!! i love the effect.

question for those using topaz. are you applying multiple effects in topaz and if so, do you have to save one then do the next or is there a way to apply multiple at one time? thanks.

I find this very appealing. I love the simplified, graphic look and the color range. Looks like Gollum to me!

Harold, Topaz requires you to save an image before you can apply another effect. Try applying some of these to HDR images... ;)

Very cool creation. I agree it does look like a cartoon/illustration. Nice comp, color and balance-and the lines are great. Well done!
