In my original post of Virginia Bluebells someone asked about eliminating the trees. I happen to like the look of the trees in the background but I did make images without them. This is one of those images. I am new at these blurs so I am not sure when it has maybe gone to far.

    Canon 30D; Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L lens; handheld

    1/2 sec @ f/22; ISO 100; +1/3 EV

I did add some color saturation in PP.

Ed, Personally I liked the trees in your last image I think they gave it a sense of place. This one I'm not crazy about it feels a bit too blurred w/o an interesting pattern. It's not bad it's just not my taste. But I have found that with these guys it's all subjective and beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. So if it's pleasing to you it will probably be pleasing to others.Keep posting them and experimenting-I think you are on to something!!

I like the colours and the blur with everything placed on the diagonal. It's neat too that you go from light to dark and thin to thick. I might even blur it just a bit to see what it looks like amd maybe give it a softer fell. Think it would make a lovely print Ed.
