Waterlily

I'm sure most of us have created images of waterlilies. They are beautiful flowers, but how do you do something different? Well, I ran this one through PS to create a painterly effect, but left the center untouched, except for sharpening. For me, it works. Comments?

Dick I like the painting effect but would like to compare it to a version with the centre painted as well.

I think I'd probably like the painted effect in the center too, but at a lower opacity.
