I am a little early for the theme, but thought I would post. I worked in Manual Mode, metered off the green grass and dialed in more compensation.
    20D
    HH
    Cropped a little
    100mm
    ISO 100
    f/32
    2 secs
    polarizing filter
blew the yellow channel so added a blue filter at 20 percent
I was wondering if this is working as a blur
Wind did the blurring, we had a beautiful day, about 30 Celsius, then it became hat grabbing weather and it knocked down a lot of power lines, so the power was out for about 5 1/2 hours :) all over the province. I think God realized he had actually given us a nice day!

Best way to meter Jackie The green will substitute for an 18% grey card !!! .... kept looking at the image and thought there was something wrong with my eyes :) Very strong composition... difficult to make a totaly oof image appealing !!! :)

Thanks Al, I read a lot on this site and tried to figure out Manual. It was much easier than I thought. I also changed the focus point to off-center in the hopes of getting a more appealing image:) Only took me a couple of years to figure that one out:D

I hope the masters will show us all different camera techniques for doing blurs for our next assignment. Should be fun.

Jackie, I'm glad you're doing blurs-the one you posted in OOTB is super!! This one seems more blurry than a blur,if that makes sense. I can't wait till the upcoming assignment,I'm looking forward to learning alot!!
