    Great composition and colours John. Don't know too much about scanning from slide but this lloks good to me. I love the orange/red of the rocks against that deep blue sky:)

    Hey John,
    I do love the blues of the old slides! Very nice use of the rivers s-curve to lead you through the image. The FG appears a bit bright on my monitor and an adjustment layer on the FG will make it pop even more. I find that slides generally need more tweaks in PP'ing than digital....just nature of the beast I guess! Nicely composed leading me to that very strong sky.

    I made a duplicate layer
    darkened it
    added an inverted layer mask
    painted in the darker foreground with the paintbrush

    Great image of a special place John. I like the re-worked version much better since it evens out the exposure some.

    Re post is much better. The colors look deeper ant the FG much better. Love that sky.

    John, This is really beautiful. I love all the bold colors and the river is weaving nicely through your image.Well done.
