I photographed this today at Ding Darling. I think it is a Red Knot. I used my Sony a100 with a Sigma 50-500 lense. The data= f/5.6, 1/250, +1.3 ev, ISO 200 at 160mm. All C&C's welcomed. Thanks, John
Hi John,
I like the image and capture on this little guy...I like the color rendition on the bird, combined with the fine, sharp details in the feathers...you have a good head angle with a sharp clear eye...I also like the ultra low capture angle...the foreground is pleasing and adds character to the image...compositional wise, I would like to see your subject off center and moved a little to the right of the frame, I recommend you cropping about 1/4 from the right side of the frame, and 1/4 from the top to reduce the extra negative space...aside from this, a fantastic capture indeed...congrats...I like it...looking forward to your next one Sir...
Hi John Agree with comments and can only suggest to check the histogram ... got some white over the edge with no detail Sweet pose with open bill and directly looking at the camera !!!
