    Default Greylag geese pair in flight

    Canon EOS 1DIII with EF 500mm f4 L plus 1.4xTC
    ISO 400; f 7.1; 1/1250

    This image was made as this pair of greylag geese (I think that is what they are, but stand to be corrected) took off. The goose at the back is slightly OOF due to the large aperture. Is that OK if the one in front is sharp?

    I like the composition and similar wing position. I don't mind that the other bird is OOF, just wish for more separation between the head of the bird in front and the wing of the other one.

    Not positive of the species but I like this a lot. It is perfectly fine to have the 2nd bird o-o-f. I rather like the juxtaposition and the similar wing positions. Expoure is great and the front bird is sharp. You might try reducing the SAT of the blue sky a bit...

    I liked it as it is. Two birds in same pose one sharp and another one OOF thank kind of made this image for me.

    I like this image as posted. The matching wingbeats shows the synchronization of the two birds.

    I really like the concept of this shot. I think did a very nice job executing it as well. My only nit is that the FG bird's wing melts into the BG bird's wing.
