I like the composition in that the images tells a story. The exposure and colors look good to me. I might be tempted to try and process the image so the barker spot in the background just in front of the birds beak is obvious. I agree with Peter that some additional sharpening might enhance the image. Thanks for sharing.

I like the capture of the nest-building process. I would go for a wider crop to see more of the nest, sharpen the bird more and the bright patch right of the bird's head is a bit distracting. There seem to be some cloning artifacts.
