    Taken yesterday morning under near perfect conditions.
    Canon 50D, 1/1200, f/8.0, ISO 400, 500mm f4 IS

    Lovely light, colours, perch, BG, sharpness and wing pose - a little more eye contact would have been nice

    Ditto Tony's comments - really gorgeous light and Killer BG - as mentioned some more eye contact would have put this over the top :)

    Looks like you were in the perfect spot to take this one Rick. Lovely colours and details. Having ha and eye contact would have been great. Dave

    As you say perfect conditions, super light. Good feather detail, well exposed, nice BG and vivid colours. Ditto Tony on eye contact. Well processed and presented.

    I like the clarity in this, together with the amazing light and colours. Great timing for the landing too. Congrats Rick.

    I like the pose, perch, details and BG. Aside from lightening the eye, I would work on the catchlight since it looks somewhat large and out of place.
