    No bird, what to do ??

    D300, 200-400 + 1.4TC @ 490 on tripod. Manual exposure mode; all natural light. ISO 500, f8 1/500s.

    Applied a touch of diffuse glow.

    Tried but couldn't find any good photo op for birds. Then I saw the light, literally.

    I can see why the light caught your attention; it is very nice and well captured.
    I'm finding it a bit hard to find a focus or flow in the composition.

    Thank you, thank you for the comment, Gail !! Perhaps the background should have been more oof, I guess.

    Looks good Desmond I like the darker tree bark, gives the flowers good separation. I always try going for best available !! Did well !!! .. the only area the catches my eye is the lighter white flower on left bg !!
