From this morning's visit to Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve in New Hope, Pa. We got there early. My wife went on a bird walk and I went to photograph the Bluebells. I had a chance to try several different things that I have been wanting to try and just haven't got around to. One was shooting wide angle close-ups using my Sigma 10-20mm lens and a Canon 500D close-up lens/filter. That's for later. I also want to try some camera movement techniques. Here is one example where I slowed the shutter speed a little by stopping down to f/22 and going to ISO 100 and purposefully moved the camera a short distance as I pressed the shutter release. I thought about adding a ND filter but didn't.

You thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

    Canon 30D; Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L lens; handheld

    1/3 sec @ f/22; ISO 100; 0 EV

Ed, Since in-camera blurs are my newest craze-I just love this. I like that you didn't bump up the contrast and left that surreal look. I would crop a bit off the bottom just above the bottom blue flowers. I would also put the word THEME in front of your title so it is eligible for the IOTW with the landscape theme. It certainly qualifies!!Love it!!

Will make sure to include it in landscapes. Love the purple and green together and even the trunks look like they have some magenta in them. Think the image would be even stronger with the crop as mentioned by Denise. Nice blur Ed.
