    I photographed this image at the Alligator farm in St. Augustine, Florida on Monday. ISO 200, f/4.0, 1/160 sec, EF24-105mm f/4.0L IS USM, 105mm, Evaluative Metering, Auto Exposure, Cloudy WB, No Flash. Comments Welcome.

    Hi Richard - lovely detail in that breeding plumage and colour as well. Like the visible eggs and the puffed up pose - Personally would have liked to see a bit of a head turn towards you.

    I quite like the oof foreground objects used to frame the subject - just wondering if you had moved to your left a bit could the RHS one have been made a little smaller in the RHS Corner?

    Hey Mr. Waas,
    I like the composition and capture...I like the natural habitat...I agree with Mr. Peters on the techs...the head angke does not bother me because Mom is busy tending the eggs...good show...looking forward to your next one...:cool:

    Richard, Really nice composition and the puffed up pose is a big plus. Nice capture w/ the eggs.

    Amazing how close we can get to the birds Richard That nest looks like its before the first little bend in the boardwalk !!!

    Might desaturate just a bit but its one lovely image, love the framing with the leaves Big Congrats !!!
