    Difficult characters to expose at the best of times, but knowing these guys, you have done very well to bring out the detail from the underwing Dave. Gret timing to capture the wing touching the water, and to show most of his wingspread. Although he is touching the water, I feel a little more space at the bottom will work here, and maybe move him back a tad. Still, very well captured Dave.

    Very nice exposure and lighting. The wing trailing in the water is a bonus but I would like to have seen this captured a tad sooner. Many thanks for sharing Dave.

    Great light, details and pose. I only wish the head were angled towards you.

    Very nice capture Dave. I am a bit curious about the shutter speed. You did well to get both wings exposed like that with a bonus of one in the water. Nice details. Dave

    Thanks to all for looking and for comments. I will note the HA in future posts.

    Dave the SS was 1/1000.
    Shooting mode = AE
    Metering= evalutive
    exp comp = +2/3

    Judy the previous shot in the burst the wing was not in the water and unfortunately the head angle the same. I think this was the best in the series.
