Hi all, first post in this forum.
Hope to enjoy my time here...

I'll kick things off with this Little owl image taken a year ago.

Welcome to BPN Danny, and judging by this image, we are going to see some great images from you. Stunning light and sharpness, and love the eye contact in this. What a killer BG too. Comp wise, I would give a little more room at bottom right. Congrats.

Other than what Stuart mentioned about LRC and space, this is magic. Congrats on a superb image and welcome to the best place on the web for nature photography. Hope to see more like this! :)

Superb light, sharpness and posture, congratulations on a killer image. Another vote for a little more room at the bottom.

Welcome to BPN, Danny! Excellent first post. I like the details, pose, exposure control, light and complementing BG. I would give it more room. Keep them coming!

    Hi Danny!

Cute as can be! Very nice detail and love the complementary background color. I like the diagonal perch, and if it fits your ethics, may remove the lower twig. One of the talon has a strong refection and is very bright, drawing my attention downwards. I would try toning it down some. Since I am pretty guilty (and blind) regarding color cast, I hope someone may comment if there is a hint here. Congratulations on your image.

Welcome. That is one stunning stare. And the light is killer. Did you consider eliminating te branches below the main branch? I am fine with the talons--no glare seen here.

Where are you from??? Where was the image created?

Thanks Danny. What are you thoughts about the branches below the main perch?

Well, I like them otherwise I would have cloned them out.
I think without them the perch is too simple. But that's just me :)
