    Default Wandering Tattler (Ecuador)

One of the mornings when I was headed out for a surf I spotted this guy on a rocky outcropping. As it turned out he seemed to really love this spot at low tide and I had a few opportunities to photograph him. It was a treat because this species is really tough when I am home in Victoria.

    Cheers!

Very nice. Good eye contact and details. The setting and background really show the bird nicely. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Glenn,
Beautiful bird. I like the low angle and the overall color make the bird stand out. My only suggestion is maybe crop a little of the bottom and add some to the top.

    HI Glenn,

I cannot find anything to not like about your image honestly. I like the beautiful background and contrast it provides to your Tattler. I am not too familiar with this species, but vaguely recall that most posted images of this species I see is on rocky shores. Is that more or less the case with where they hang?

    Thanks for sharing.

The low angle works well here, and this is nice and sharp. Stunning light, and you have captured the perfect pose. Great image Glenn.

All round fine image, especially the low perspective and head angle.
