One of my favorite birds! I was obviously not paying attention to my settings! This was shot on D

F8, ISO 1000, 1/8000, FL 560.:o Shot in the morning at Fort Desoto.

    Hi Kathy,
I like the composition and capture...I like the unusual perch, it adds character to the composition...the bird is placed just right in frame...you have good fine details in the wings and a clear eye, the head angle needs just a slight nudge of CW rotation...suggestions...the image is a tad under exposed and is a little flat on the colors, I would open up the mid-tones and increase the saturation and contrast just a little bit, not too much...and resharpen the eye...looking forward to more...

    Hi Kathy,
I agree with Gus assessments. I would suggest a little more room on top.

Nailed by Gus - not a lot more to add - little tight up top for my personal taste.
    Keep them coming :)

Thank you all for the comments and suggestions. Did I over do it a little? This guy was shot a Fort Desoto.
