    Nice pose and behavior photograph I would work on the eye a bit and crop slighty different so as not the place the bird in the center of the frame . Might work as a vertical crop

    They have mostly left our area for the north Kinda miss them but I also welcome spring

    I like the behaviour you captured here...I like the open bill, and great timing to have the head fully tilted back. I agree about the comp being too centered. Since the reflection is not strong you can crop a good portion down there (about half) and that should improve things alot comp-wise. As posted another round of sharpening in the head/face area would be good.

    I think most my nits were mentioned. It does definitely need more sharpening. Not sure what workflow you have, but may I suggest that once you resize for web presentation, zoom in to 100% view and apply sharpening until you do feel it's sufficient. It makes all the difference.

    These are really amazing looking ducks. Love the pose with the open beak, and would agree with Daniel regarding the crop.
