    The overall image of this looks a bit bright on my monitor so it could just be my monitor that's the culprit :) The body feathers look sharp and I think the eye could use some sharpening. Composition-wise I like where the heron is in the photo. I'm wondering though if toning down the brightness/whiteness around the crown of the heron would be better....

    I like the setting, light and details and only wish the bird were more angled toward you.

    Hi Mike -like the low shooting angle - other points covered above - another tip for seaside images - keep a eye on the waves in the Bg and time your shot so thatthe waves compliment the image.
